Hello,

I am sorry for your little accident. As far as you are able to walk on your foot and give pressure on the ankle, it is certain that your bones are fine. Otherwise even minor exertion would cause you excruciating pain.

It seems that you have sprained your muscle or tendon. I would avise you to take muscle relaxants like Dan-MR or Hifenac-MR (Paracetamol 500g + Diclofenac sodium 50 mg + Chlorzoxazone 250 mg). Do ice application and apply local diclofenac gel (Volini). Try to give rest to your foot as much as you can. The pain and disability should decrease day-by-day.

If the pain keeps increasing or does not change at all, you should visit an orthopedic surgeon and might need an xray.

I hope this information helps. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. I wish you feel better soon!

Best,
Dr. Viraj Shah
