Suggest Treatment For Numbness In The Right Hand

I m a 57 year old male. For the past several years, I ve experienced numbness in my right hand. Mainly my middle finger and my thumb. It seems to have gotten worse lately. My internist says that there is nothing that can be done??? Will seeing a neurologist help? Thank you.

Hello,

It may be due to nerve compression at cervical level.

For that you may require MRI neck, nerve conduction studies after spine surgeon consultation.

You may require tablet pregabalin and multivitamin after consultation.

Continue physical therapy.
