Suggest Treatment For Numbness In The Right Side Of The Face

Hi. I recently went to the doctor about my right ear being clogged. I have drainage also in this war and suffer from sinus as well. When I went to her, she told me I could possibly have a Perforated Ear and referred me to a ear, nose, and throat doctor. Today is the 11th of November and I can t get in to see the specialist until the 25th of November. I am also experiencing numbness on the right side of my face and jaw ( the same side of the clogged ear) the specialist told me to call my doctor to see if they could prescribe me something until the 25th but they did not. So I say all of this to ask what can I do at home as far as the numbness and my perforated ear goes? Please help me!!!

Based on the history you have shared, it can be due to the involvement of facial nerve which wraps around middle ear and may need neurological examination in detail as well as radiological Scans like MRI scan etc.

Steroids, antibiotics, as well as surgical intervention, may be needed.
