Suggest Treatment For Numbness In Thumb

Hi, I righted a falling cart with my left hand and since then my left thumb has been feeling a bit numb... it doesn't hurt and I can move it pretty easily . Also, although I had some swelling for a couple of days it looks fine now... what can I do to reduce the numbness?
