I have been diagnosed with nystagmus when I was seven years old. I am now 24 and having severe headaches, seeing sunbursts when I see street lights or headlights, floaters, and light sensitivity, everything seems to be moving, can tilt head and gets better for a few minutes but causing neck pain. what can be done?
I reviewed your history. It seems from the history that you are having nystagmus from childhood. This requires examination to find out the associated causes with nystagmus which are responsible for poor vision and treatment for them. Nystagmus can be corrected by nystagmus surgery. With surgery for nystagmus head tilt can be corrected but vision may not improve, for this you may need low visual aids or other modes of treatment for the underlying cause as determined by examination.
Hope this is helpful to you. Thank you
