This would involve: (1) cleaning your face multiple times daily (2)benzoyl peroxide may help- it reduces inflammation and may also help kill the bacteria and unblock the pores. It can come in different formats (cleanser, cream) (3)antibacterial cream There are some creams that combine an anti bacterial cream with benzoyl peroxide You may also need a course of oral antibiotics (4)if the above is not effective there retinoids , either topical or oral can be used. You would need to speak to your doctor about this option. Your dermatologist would also be able to help with the scars. Ponds, unless it contains acne treatment meds, would not help. I hope this helps
