Hello. Thanks for writing to us at healthcaremagic
Oily skin and acne go hand in hand. You may use a salicylic acid based cleanser for face wash twice daily. Salicylic acid decreases oil production and cleanses pores and therefore is helpful in acne and oily skin conditions. Since you seem to have painful/inflammatory acne therefore as a treating doctor I would have asked you to use an oral antibiotic e.g either Azithromycin Or Doxycycline. I would have also suggested a topical antiacne gel for inflammatory acne e.g Benzoyl peroxide or Clindamycin topical gel. I would suggest that you visit a dermatologist in your region for an assessment of the severity of your acne and appropriate treatment.
