Suggest Treatment For Osteogenesis Imperfecta

Hi, I have a disease called Osteogenesisimperfecta (probably not spelled right), or brittle bones, and I have broken well over 20 bones. Since my last break 2 years ago when i had to have four surgeries on my arm, i have sort of "afraid" to go outside and play with my friends because I don't want to break anythihng again. So my question is, is this a bad thing? And if so, how can i overcome my "fear"?
