Suggest Treatment For Osteomyelitis

My husband had surgery about 3 weeks ago on his foot for osteomyelitis. His foot did really good and now it started to swell and cause him a little pain. I know that his foot is draining some because they left the incision open to drain, but I was wondering if it could be an abscess in his foot.
