Suggest Treatment For Ovarian Cancer And Hormonal Problems

I am 29 years old and have been having problems with side pain this last year. I had a pap about a year ago that came back abnormal. I do have HPV. I just got an ultrasound because for this last month I have had heavy irregular periods about every other week. The Ultrasound showed bilateral Ovarian Cysts 1.7 x 1.3 x 1.5 on the right and 3.0 x 1.8 x 2.0 on the left. My doctor said to just take birth control to regulate my periods and hormones but I am just looking for a second opinion. I am sure he is probably right but my main concern is obviously ovarian cancer as well as why am I having this hormonal change.

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question.
I can understand your concern.

You have abnormal pap smear result and bilateral ovarian cyst.

First of all tell me about your pap smear result. If it is LSIL then its OK. But if it is more abnormal like HSIL or further then you need cervical biopsy once to rule out malignancy.

You have bilateral ovarian cyst. All ovarian cyst are not cancerous. You just check your CA125 once to rule out ovarian cancer. If your CA 125 level is normal then nothing to worry. Continue your birth hormonal medicine according to advice.

Hope I have answered your question.
If you have any doubts then feel free to ask me. I will be happy to answer.
