Hello,

I can understand your concern. However, a cyst in ovary is not capable of passing blood in urine. Blood in urine may be due to urinary tract infection and the pain you are suffering from can be related to this infection only.

You will have to do an antibiotic course for relief from pain and blood in urine. I would advise you to take Levofloxacin 250 mg (Levoflox) twice a day for 5 days. You can take Acetaminophen 500 mg thrice a day for pain relief till the infection resolves. Drink lots of fluids and take rest.

If you do not get relief in 5 days, you might have to go for blood tests and urine culture. After you get insurance, I would advise you to get treated for ovarian cyst for regular menstrual cycles.

I hope this information helps. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. I wish you feel better soon!

Best,
Dr. Viraj Shah
