Suggest Treatment For Ovarian Cyst
I always. Have my period for 4mnths now ..but in about a week now i hav a nausea and i went to take a scan and. It confirms dat i hav Ovarian cyst so i was afraid i w went to a pharmacist and he prescribed E P forte tablets to me.He said dat the day. I will. Find My next period i shld take 3pills of EP forte so dat the blood Will come freely so dat the ovarian cyst Will begone ..but i dnt wnt to take it cos am not pregnant. Need ur advice..tnks

Treatment of ovarian cyst depend on the following conditions:
1) the size of the cyst (if it is more than 5 cm in diameter)
2) the symptoms produced by the cyst
3) the age of the patient (post-menopausal women have a slightly higher chances of developing ovarian cancer)
In most cases ovarian cyst disappear on their own without any treatment.
In my opinion, I would not advise you to take that treatment. If the cyst is more than 5 cm or giving you serious symptoms, then surgery can be done. If it is less than 5 cm, I would recommend the policy of watchful waiting.
