Suggest Treatment For Ovarian Cyst

hello, i have been on my cycle for one month and two weeks now. i have been told that i have an ovarian cysts, that disappears and reoccur often. my question is how long can my period last before its bad, and why is my blood light red one day, and brown and smelly two days later?
