Suggest Treatment For Overuse Ingury In The Wrist.

I have what is being diagnosed as an overuse injury in the wrist. i have being doing what the doctor told me (wrist splint, icing and advil), It has been a week now and the pain is still there, whats more when i do move the wrist now i feel popping in the wrist.

I have gone through your query.Your problem is most likely carpal tunnel syndrome. Splinting, ice application and anti inflammatory medications like advil (ibuprofen) is the primary treatment.You can take nerve vitamins like Vitamin B12 and B6 also.If all this not helping then you can approach an orthopedician for surgical correction.In this surgery transverse carpal ligament is cut which gives relief of pressure given on median nerve and that will improve your symptoms.Hope this may help you.
