Suggest Treatment For Pain After A Root Canal Procedure
I am undergoing RCT. I have to take third sitting. But meantime thhe wisdom tooth filling has come out and it pains like hell. I can reach to my doctor tomorrow evening. Meantime suggest strong pain killer. I do not have problem with gums. Regards.
As per your complain pain in between the sittings of root canal when the filling has been dislodged indicates that the root canals still contains some vital nerve fibres which have not been cleaned yet and as filling is removed and the nerves are exposed a slight stimulation can lead to severe pain..
What you can do is just gently place a small piece of sterile cotton by making it as a small ball inside the tooth cavity and avoid eating from that side..
You can take TRAMADOL or Ketorol DT( ketorol DT should be taken by dissolving one tablet in one fourth glass of water) to control pain. But get the root canals clean as soon as possible to get complete relief..
Hope this information helps..
