Suggest Treatment For Pain And Bruise On The Hips After Injury

Hi, I fell on my hip over a week ago and have a huge bruise. I m slightly worried as towards the end of the day my thigh feels numb and tingly on the outside all the way down from my hip to my knee. It isn t like that in the morning but I m on my feet all day so it could be affecting it. Is this something I should be worried about?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The numbness should be temporary, it would be due to trauma to the nerves as a result of the fall.
If the trauma was severe then it may be there for a longer period of time.

If it is possible to rest the affected area, this would help.

The use of anti inflammatory pain killers may help with any pain that is present eg ibuprofen, naproxen, cataflam

I hope this helps
