General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

When the hemorrhoids get thrombosed they need to be surgically treated within 72 hours for better results.
To help with the pain you can use procto-synalar twice a day to reduce local irritation and pain. Also taking movicol regularly to help the stools be soft and ease the transit in the bowel is recommended.

I hope this answers your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj, General & Family Physician
