Suggest Treatment For Pain And Discomfort In Shoulder

When I move my shoulder in a windmill like motion, my shoulder(left) makes popping noises, and I do know that, that shoulder is separated, which i did over a year ago, and should that injury still being giving me pain, and make popping noises in my shoulder?
