Suggest Treatment For Pain And Discomfort In The Groin Area And Legs
I have a kidney transplant since year 2000. Two days ago I experienced pain, throbbing and uncomfortableness in this area. My groins and leg aches as well on the same side of my kidney as well. Went to the ER doctor because I assumed my kidney had failed but they said labs were good 1.7 creatinine. Took sonogram and all is well other than suspecting some kind of velocity going on and schedule for a biopsy next week to check to see further. Was given pain meds and came home. Woke up this morning feeling okay but later on still feeling some pain in kidney but my leg and groin still hurt. What is going on?
* The excruciating pain over groin and legs can be related to sciatica pain with radiation to legs , as kidney issue problem with hydronephrosis or else will not radiate to the legs rather it radiates to anterior abdomen wall only.
Kindly discuss the need of an x-ray of lumbar spine with your treating doc for further guidelines.
Selected analgesic as tramadol hydrochloride with paracetamol can be consumed very safely with altered creatinine level without any further problems.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
