Suggest Treatment For Pain And Discomfort In The Lower Abdomen

I have had a dull pain in my lower abdomen for three days. I feel better when I release gas. I ve upped my resting time to 8-9 hours. I have limited eating to chicken noodle soup & bread. Ive had water, tea & ginger ale for liquids. Everyday I feel a little better but my abdomen is still tender. Do I need to see a doctor for meds or should I let it run its course?

Hi

Thanks for using HealthcareMagic

If the pain is worsening or not improving then you should be seen by your doctor for assessment.
Since there is slight improvement daily then you can continue to monitor and treat at home.

I hope this helps.

Regards,

Dr. Michelle Gibson James,
General & Family Physician
