Suggest Treatment For Pain And Fluid Retention After A Bilateral Mastectomy

I had bilateral mastectomy almost 3 weeks ago and drains out a week ago. I have fluid building up and its very painful. Doc said to do arm circles and my body will absorb the fluid over time. But it is excruciating and I wanted to know if ice or heat would help.

Hello

Ice for the first few days followed by heat compress everyday until the fluid is absorbed can be followed but is not a sufre shot solution. There should have been a drain in place but I am sure your doctor knows what he/she is doing.

Best wishes
