Hello,

I can understand your concern. It is a usual finding to feel pain of kidney stones in testicle. As you are also experiencing burning while urination, I would suspect Urinary tract Infection which is also very common in kidney stone patients.

You should go for an antibiotic course. Take Levofloxacin 250 mg (Levoflox) twice a day for 5 days. You can take additional Acetaminophen 500 mg or Ibuprofen 400 mg to find relief in pain. Antacids may also be taken with antibiotics.

Additionally, drink lots and lots of fluids. The more fluids you will drink, the more urine output you will have and the faster the kidney stone will be eliminated from your body. Recurrent UTIs will also cease to be a problem after removal of kidney stone.

If the pain does not go away in 5 days, you should consult a urologist for physical examination and further investigations.

I hope this answer helps you. Thank you for trusting HCM for your problem. I wish you healthy life!

Best,
Dr. Viraj Shah
