Suggest Treatment For Pain And Itchiness In Throat With Fever

hi, im talha, age 24 having pain, itching in throat and today im in fever also im feeling so weak now also have pain in my body today i got one tablet last night of arnik forte by abbot but my sickness is stil same, and today im gargeling by salt water and its not working also, please help me what should i do. Thank you.

hi Talha,
After going through your query, it is my understanding that you are suffering from pharyngitis/ strep throat (sore throat/ throat infection) This causes severe pain and itching in the throat. Your body pains and fever are also due to this. salt water gargling is a temporary solution.
If i were your treating doctor, i would have suggested you to take a penicillin derivative like, Augmentin capsule 625mg (amoxicillin + clavulanic acid) along with a tab.Paracetamol 500mg daily twice for five days. As these are prescription drugs, i suggest you to consult a physician and get the treatment. hope my answer helped. thank you.
