Suggest Treatment For Pain And Itching In Big Toe

I'm trying to find what have caused the itching that i have been experiencing this minute. took maintenance drugs tenormin and ramipril this morning but due to pain in my big toe, took 50 mg indometacine and planning to finish remainning 5 capsules tomorrow but dont know if that is right. Will appreciate if you can tell me what to do.

For itching apply anti allergic cream,can take ant iallergic tablets.
For pain apply pain killer gel & take pain killer medicine.
Get blood test for 'Uric acid' to rule out Gout.
