Suggest Treatment For Pain And Lump On Knee

for around 6 months i have been feeling a pain in my right knee when i flex an extend my knee, especially if my knee is in a bent position for a while i get an acheing pain. just recently though i have noticed a small lump on the lower part of my knee jus on the outside my local gp is usuless so can you help?
