Suggest Treatment For Pain And Numbness Around The Ribs

Yes , I was told by my dr that I have nueropathy in my ribs I have a lot of pain with this and numbness my cloths when touching my skin hurts as well as my muscles feel like they have been stretched now it s going around ribs and upward on the big muscle in my back I m taking gabapentin for this but keeps getting worse do you have any ideas ?

Hello,

The symptoms seem to be related to neuropathy. I suggest to continue using Gabapentin twice a day to relieve the pain. I also suggest using Capsain cream for local application. I recommend to do a blood test and glycemic level for further evaluation.
