Suggest Treatment For Pain And Pressure In The Shoulders
I have been experiencing weakness & pain in my upper arms for over a week. Feels a lot like strained or fatigued muscles. Also pain more like stress in my upper shoulders. Tonight I started to experience pain in the back of my neck especially when laying down & trying to raise up. I do not feel like my glands are swollen, but have a bit of discomfort when swallowing. I recently changed blood pressure meds from divan to irbesartan. Could these be a side affect of the new drug?
I think the mouth ulcers have occurred due to side effect to one of the medicines that you have been taking.
If the pain is still persistent, then you can start on lornoxicam, etodolac or tramadol. These are safer analgesics without having a history of any major side effects.
You should take these medicines twice a day with a glass of milk after food. Continue doing physiotherapy along with the application of local analgesic gel with hot fomentation.
As a preventive measure, take multivitamin tablets before starting these analgesic tablets.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Ivan R. Rommstein, General Surgeon
