Suggest Treatment For Pain And Soreness In The Shoulder After An Injury
I ve had shoulder pain since football season ended. I think it got dislocated and then relocated during the same hit. But anyways its just a little sore especially when I lift something heavy. I have stretched it quite a bit since and I ve had it pop many times while stretching and sometimes the stretching hurts it. It has been doing a lot better lately but sometimes there s still some pain. I don t think its anything serious as I ve gotten many football injuries, but I was wondering if there s any specific stretches I should do to try and make it feel a little better.
Certain overhead throwing motions common in football can cause the rotator cuff tendon at the back of the shoulder to become pinched between the humeral head and the glenoid; this is sometimes caused by anatomical shoulder looseness and may damage the rotator cuff or labrum.
The pain reason could be more complicated than you think but it is treatable.
Therefore I suggest consulting a bone specialist for physical examination, diagnosis and treatment.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. K. V. Anand, Psychologist
