Suggest Treatment For Pain And Spotting During Intercourse
Hi, I had unprotected sex and bled a little bit during, I had such bad pain during sex and after, I went to the dr the next day and had to have the paraguard removed. It had migrated upwards and was the cause of my pain. I started a low dose birth control today but am worried that I may get pregnant! help!
Hi Thanks for posting on HCM Pain and spotting after sex are common if sex traumatic. It was probably caused by your paraguard and may need no special management or investigations. You will just have to observe if pain and spotting will persist.Birth control pills are very effective even though not at 100%.All you need is to see an Expert in family planning or a Gynecologist for your pills and directives on how to take and what to do when you miss a dose since forgetting or skipping doses are common at the start. You may however go for dual protection(pills and condom) for the first month to allow your system to get used to the contraceptive pills. Hope this will help you Regards
