Suggest Treatment For Pain And Stiffness On Knee After Injury

6 days ago I suffered a hard fall directly onto my knee. I just had it x-rayed and the films showed no fraction, break, etc. It showed a severe hematoma/contusion. The entire length of my leg, including my foot is black and blue. That is healing with swelling somewhat improved but i have a long way to go. Still feeling stiff, pain, and the knee is swollen, puffy, sore. How do I take care of this to dissolve the hematoma and return my knee back to health?
