Suggest Treatment For Pain And Swelling In Ankle After An Injury

I ran my ankle into something over a month ago and it swelled up and was bruised for a while. It's been over a month now and it still has a lump under the skin, it looks like it might have a scar even though it barely broke the skin, the bruise has gone away but it's still tender and sometimes i have an annoying pain when I walk on it.
