Suggest Treatment For Pain And Swelling In The Ankles
On September 10th 2016 my left ankle and shin got injured from a fallen object. T that time the area was bruised and swollen some. It never did hurt or bother me until 2 days ago. My ankle started swelling and hurting and there is a knot on my shin that hasn t gone away and an odd sensation going up to my knee.
After the injury, the periosteum may be get injured and form a swelling along with skin reactions. It may take time to recover. But you have to evaluate the possibility of tibial injury by X-ray of affected leg ap, lateral view.
Use cold and warm compression. Use NSAIDS for pain relief. Use chymoral forte tablet to reduce the swelling. If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
