Suggest Treatment For Pain And Swelling In The Knee Post A Surgery
Hi Doctor, I had arthroscopic knee surgery in July and have had ongoing swelling ever since. Two weeks ago, I began a series of three gel shots. I am STILL having swelling, although no pain. I have been icing religiously, but feel I can t resume the activities I love (tennis and pickleball). I am also limiting my walking. What is the prognosis for this stubborn knee? Nancy

It could be an inflammatory pain.
As of now, you can use analgesics/anti-inflammatory combination like aceclofenac/serratiopeptidase for symptomatic relief.
If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated.
