Suggest Treatment For Pain And Swelling In The Shin

Hello. I took my kids tubeing on Monday. I made sure all of them wore sun screen but I forgot about myself and my legs got very badly burned. Since this is now Friday the upper part of my legs are healing great but my shin area is still tender. With my job I am on my feet all day and my shins all the ay down to my feet swell up so bad that it feels like they can't stretch any further but feels like they keep contracting and getting bigger. Its very very painful. What can I do so they wont swell? Does this sound like sun poisoning?
