Suggest Treatment For Pain And Swelling On Finger
HI two weeks ago I a small rose thorn was stuck into my finger I tried to remove it but could not. Then picked at it again and still cold not remove it. Now I have noticing some pain and swelling. What should I do? I thought about putting Epsom salt on it with a bandaid. Please advise

Hello,
It could be a local infection or cellulitis. Consult a general surgeon at the earliest and get evaluated. These small infection might spread rapidly and leads to unwanted complications. Antibiotics has to be started to control the infection. If there is pus collection it has to be drained promptly.
