Suggest Treatment For Pain And Tingling Sensation In Neck

Hi. For a few years now I occasionally get a severe electric shock sensation from my neck to the top of my shoulder. It lasts only a second or so but is so unpleasant that it's frightening. It has been getting worse recently. I have some neck pain too.
I have not history of injury. Am 45 year old male with no other problems
