ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi,
Welcome to healthcare magic.
I had gone through your question.
I can understand your concern.
Your son could have developed acute otitis media of the ear, that is infection of inside ear secondary yo water activity.
I recommend him the following.
1) A course of antibiotics preferably amoxicillin with clavulinic acid.
2) Analgesics like ibuprofen for pain relief.
3) Decongestant tablet which contains levocetrizine with phenylephrine
4) No need for any drops

Hope I have answered your questions. If you have any further questions I am happy yo help.

Wish your son a speedy recovery.

Regards,
Dr Paparaja S MBBS MS
