Suggest Treatment For Pain Going Down Into The Leg

For the last 3 or 4 days I have a problem standing up out of a chair, and when I lay down, I feel like the princess and the pea in my bed. It is difficult to turn over in the bed. I have not fallen. I first noticed the pain when bending over to sit on the toilet. It is on both hips. The pain sometimes goes down the back of my right leg. Can you tell me what it might be?? I don t have any money to pay you. Please give me an answer. Thank you

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello.

the pain could be due to degeneration or age-related wear and tear of your hip joint requiring an X-ray of both hips for confirmation. In such cases a joint replacement surgery is advised which can get you to feel almost 10-15 years younger and so I would recommend the same.

Best wishes.
