Suggest Treatment For Pain In Abdomen After D And C

I recently had a D& C following a miscarriage and have since then been having symptoms such as needle like pain in my abdomen, a pain that comes and goes and makes me dizzy. My heart beat also tends to go up. I also feel very nauseous. The pain is worse when i walk and when i want to empty my bowels. Please help!

Hi,
I understand your concern.
The abdominal pain in lower abdomen after D&C procedure , is partly due to -
- curating/ cleaning of uterine cavity during the procedure.
- partly by uterine contractions to expel remaining products of conception.
Please don't worry. with the medicines given post operative & healing process sets in - the pain should subside by 3 days.
If there is no relief / pain increases( specially the one with defecation)you should visit your doctor .
Do not massage/ foment her abdomen.
Thanks.
