Suggest Treatment For Pain In Arm After An Injury

I feel like I may have pulled my bicep, but I’m not sure. A little over a month ago I was slightly intoxicated and decided to try climbing a light post the next day I had an irritating aching pain in my left arm, I didn’t think much of it, so I went out wakeboarding. Immediately after wakeboarding the pain got much worse and felt like a deep to the bone intense ach that could have been my shoulder or my elbow. I took a few days off from any activity and it felt much better. However, after going to the gym and working out, rather intensely, the same deep to the bone pain came back. This has been going on for almost two months and I will rest, think its better, go to the gym and feel no pain for a week then one day I will get that same pain again. Its not the exercises either because I will do pull ups one day and no pain, but a few days later after doing pull-ups my arm will hurt like heck. Also when I’m in a lot of pain warm water makes my arm feel much better and Ice seems to intensify the pain or do nothing at all. Any advice on how to remedy the problem or what it could be?
