General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

If there is impingement of nerve roots and stenosis then I would suggest Microdiscectomy. This will give you relief. Before going for that you can try physiotherapy like TENS and traction. Muscle relaxants like Cyclobenzaprine or Thiocolchicoside will be helpful also.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nishad B. N., General & Family Physician
