Suggest Treatment For Pain In Chest, Head, Hands And Legs

my husband is suffering from pain in chest, head, hands & legs. Everytime he is in fear. Dr. has prescribed him to take opiprol 50. When he takes this tablet he is ok, but when he reduces the dosage of this tablet according to the dr s instructions his pain & fear increases.

Opiprol is an antidepressant, anti anxiety medication.

This is the reason that it reduces his fear when it is used. Anti depressants can also help with chronic pain and nerve related pain so it is possible that this is the reason that his pain reduces as well.

He should consider continuing the medication till both he and the doctor thinks it is time for him to be weaned off.
