Suggest Treatment For Pain In Extreme Right Side Of Abdomen

I,m a 72 year old white female weighing 189 lbs. I have a problem with pain in the extreme right side of my abdomen right under my rib line. In March of this year I began having this pain, not sharp but just like a constant pain. I also developed stools that where also colorless to very light yellow, frequent bouts of diarrhea& constipation, frequent bout of nausea-no vomiting.
I have several abdominal surgeries over the years. Hysterectomy, gall bladder removal, spontaneous Rupture of bowel resulting in a colostomy with closure 2 years later. Two years ago I was to have a repair of an abdominal hernia repair. The surgeon nicked my bowel in the procedure and closed me up for four days and needless to say I had peritonitis and as a result I had 7 surgeries in 6 days with a resulting 6 week stay in ICU fighting for my life. This pain that I am having ,I have had an MRI which showed some dilatation of the Biliary Duct but nothing else. I have 2 liver function studies done and the results were a little a little out of normal but not too drastic. I also have had a sonogram done which showed a dilatation of of the Biliary Duct. So my question to you is where or what else can we look for because I,m still having all the symptoms yet.Thank you .

hello dear
thanks for asking
as you have mentioned a very lucid and detailed history...the now developed pain on right side of abdomen has nothing to do with the past surgeries....i am of the opinion that you better do some basic investigations and do an ERCP.as if there is some stricture in bile duct it need to be released.
