Suggest Treatment For Pain In Eyes And Inside Nose After Injury

My eye is hurting really bad. The inside of my nose near my tear duct hurts when I touch it. Also when I press on my eye near the tear duct it is very painful. It feels like someone punched me in the face to be honest. It s not puffy, there s nothing in my eye, it s not itchy, and it s not red. I also do not have any sinus problems at the time.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Sinus congestion can cause facial pain and pain in the sinus near the eye but it should not cause severe eye pain.

It would be best to be assessed as soon as possible by your doctor or an opthalmologist.

Causes of severe eye pain include: (1) infection
(2)corneal abrasion
(3) trauma
(4) foreign body in the eye
(5)glaucoma

These are only some of the possible causes .

I hope this helps
