Suggest Treatment For Pain In Foot After Achilles Tendon Surgery

Just had achilles tendon surgery five days ago. My foot is in a splint to prevent movement and wrapped in an ace bandage. Yesterday I slipped with my crutch and put weight on my affected foot. It hurt alot and I could feel the back of my let pull. I don't think I re tore it, but it was painful. My ace feels tighter since, but no lingering pain. Should I just continue to put my foot up and continue or should I seek medical attention from my surgeon.
