General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Based on the symptoms you are experiencing, it appears that you need to be investigated for the following conditions and then treated accordingly.
1. In case you are sexually active and have a delay in your periods, kindly get a urine pregnancy test done followed by ultrasound scan of pelvis to rule out 'ectopic pregnancy'.
2. In case it is not due to ectopic pregnancy, the ultrasound scan could tell about the presence of infection in the pelvis called 'pelvic inflammatory disease' (PID) or any ovarian/uterine mass causing such symptoms.
Kindly consult with the report Gynecologist for evaluation by clinical examination and appropriate management accordingly.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
