Suggest Treatment For Pain In Head And Ear Post Mild Head Injury

I m a 31 year old female, 137 lbs. Average health. My son did not realize I was behind him and flew himself backward, causing the back of his head to hit the left side of my head. I literally saw flashing lights and everyone heard the crack sound. I cried and cried (and I have a high pain tolerance). My head still hurts, I have a sore, hard bump where the impact was, and my left ear aches. Should I go to the doctor or just continue to monitor things at home?

HI
Well come to HCM
Ideally head injury need to be kept under the observation for couple of day because anything could happens during this time period, now you need to get done the x-ray of skull to rule out the fracture and CT scan for cerebral injury, this is the rule and advise too, hope this information helps, take care.
