Suggest Treatment For Pain In Jaws And Near The Ear

OVER 2 DAYS I HAVE SEVERE PAIN ON RIGHT JAW AROUND EAR AREA,,SLIGHTLY NUMBISH,,I SAW MY DOCTOR THIS AFTERNOON AND HE WANTED ME TO GO ONTO AN ANTIFLAMITRY,,I TOLD HIM I HAD ENDONE 5 MG AND HE SAID OK FOR 2 OF 3 DAYS BUT LOOKING ON COMPUTER ENDONE IS NOT AN INFLAMITRY. i ALSO HAVE ARTHREXIN 25 MG AND THIS IS AN INFLAMITRY CAPSULE. mY QUESTION IS DO THEY GO TOGETHER WITHOUT PROBLEMS./ i ALSO AM TO HAVE BLOOD TESTS Monday. Is it ok to take them both at same time

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...
As per your complain Endone contains active ingredient oxycodone which is an Narcotic painkiller and can cure moderate to severe pain but is not anti-inflammatory..
On the other hand Arthrexin contains active ingredient Indomethacin which is an anti-inflammatory painkiller and can reduce pain and inflammation..
Both Indomethacin and Oxycodone can be taken together and both will play its own role and relieve pain and inflammation..

But I would like to tell you that taking only painkillers will not permanently relieve you until a proper diagnosis is made and appropriate treatment is done..

You should consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and as there is pain in jaw around ear area it can be due to wisdom tooth problem or issue related to parotid gland or ear infections..

So better get clinical diagnosis and treatment done..

As of now you can take painkillers but not more than a week to 10 days..
