Suggest Treatment For Pain In Left Cervical Area Along With Heavy Vaginal Bleeding
i was getting a pull in my left cervic area, went to obgyn and got a biopsy, they found out i have a thick liner,, and offered me a option for a dnc or ablation, i get heavy bleeding and for the first 3 days and last up to 7 to 8 days menstrals, which procedure would you recommend?
Hi, I have gone through your problem. I am assuming that 'thick liner' you mentioned means thick uterine (endometrial) lining. Since you have heavy menstrual periods, it is recommended to have some form of treatment. Both D & C and ablation are effective methods, though ablation have much better results in the long run. The problem recurs after D & C after few cycles, but it is not a problem with ablation. Endometrial ablation is recommended in women who do not want further pregnancies, as it creates problem in having a successful pregnancy afterwards.I would suggest you to undergo ablation if further childbearing is not a issue, otherwise go for D & C. Hope this answers your question. Please do vote if you find this answer helpful to you. Wishin you good health.
