Suggest Treatment For Pain In Left Side Waist Area

While shopping yesterday - my waist (from side to side and all around the back area) started to ache for no apparent reason. This morning it is persistent on my left hand side now just below the waist area. I don t think I have done anything to cause this. It feels like it is developing rapidly into something. Hope you can help me. Kerry

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Pain in the waist can occur due to various reasons.
Waist pain can be due to musculoskeletal disorder.
Is there any history of abrupt bending or turning?
Abrupt bending and turning can lead to strain in the muscles of the back.
Rest and a muscle relaxant can help in this situation.
If the pain does not get relieved after rest and muscle relaxant, other causes may have to be looked for.
A clinical assessment by your primary healthcare provider will be of help.

Thanks and take care
